Cochin International Airport: plenty of choice in international and domestic routes alike!

Just under 10.2 million people flew into or out of Cochin International Airport in the last financial year, making it India’s seventh busiest airport. Cochin International Airport is sited 16 miles north-east of the city of Kochi. The closest major road is the NH544 and the airport is reached either from the Kariyad-Airport-Mattoor Rd or the Airport Rd. From the centre of Kochi it’s a drive of between 45 minutes and 2 hours. There are two main parking lots beside the domestic and international terminals.

There are over a dozen KSRTC buses leaving daily from Fort Kochi to go to the airport. The journey time is around 90 to 120 minutes and the route passes through Thoppumpady, Vyttila and Aluva. Buses also run from Ernakulam to the airport.

Ola and Uber both operate at COK and taxis are another alternative.
